Dana/Donation...
Dana (pronounced "dah-na")
is a Pali word meaning
"generosity."
Since the time of
the Buddha, the teachings that lead
to awakened
minds & hearts have
been
offered
freely to all those who seek freedom
from the
conditioned mind. Since the teachings are considered priceless,
they are freely given.
In the
Vipassana tradition,
Dharma teachers depend upon the kindness & the generosity
of
their
students for sustenance; the fee
only covers accommodations & meals.
There will be an opportunity to contribute
towards the end of
each retreat.
